90-Day Program Overview
True Life Restoration Center House (TLRCH)
The 90-day residency program consists of a structured environment providing room, board, kitchen, and bathroom (shared access) and a learning/training program. Our residents are introduced to the resident House Manager, who will assist with an assessment of individual needs, orientation to the TLRCH house guidelines, and an introduction to an assigned Accountability Partner. Both will assist in job readiness, personal needs, and signing up for government food assistance. A structured learning/training program will be introduced where you will attend classes teaching life skills, such as budgeting, money management, and job competencies. In addition, we will require that the residents seek out a recovery program for help with emotional and/or substance abuse issues. The goal of the classes is to prepare the resident to become independent and obtain permanent housing upon leaving TLRCH. Our overall program goal is to better prepare residents for future success in all areas.
At the end of the 90-day residency program, an evaluation will be conducted to determine the resident’s progress and ability to succeed. If it is determined that the resident would benefit from another 90-day period, an extension may be granted upon approval by the board of True Life Restoration Center. Below are the guidelines with which all residents must accept and abide by while living at TLRCH.
Guidelines and Regulations
Residents of TLRCH must commit to staying for the entire 90-day program. If a change in circumstances arises, a minimum of 7 days' notice of the vacancy is required. Without a 7-day notice, the resident may be responsible for additional rent.
A nominal amount of rent will be established after move-in and upon completion of the resident’s personal needs assessment.
No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on the premises. Only medications prescribed directly by a physician or over-the-counter medications are permitted. Violations will result in expulsion.
No smoking, vaping or tobacco products will be permitted on the premises. Violation will result in expulsion.
All residents are subject to random drug testing. A refusal to comply will activate the 5-day eviction process.
All visitors must be pre-arranged with the House Manager. Visitors should remain in the common areas. No overnight guests permitted.
Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms and bathrooms clean.
The House Manager may inspect resident rooms at any time.
Residents will perform cleaning duties for the bathroom and kitchen facilities, as outlined in the schedule provided by the House Manager.
Residents are not permitted to cook any food in any area outside the kitchen.
All cooking utensils and dishes will be washed immediately after each use.
Residents will not alter bedrooms or any part of the premises without prior written permission from the House Manager.
Residents are liable for any damages they might cause while living at TLRCH.
Modest attire is required when out of my bedroom. No nudity.
No pornographic materials are permitted on the premises (viewed or stored on any personal or electronic devices).
TLRCH is not responsible for the loss or damage of the resident’s personal property.
If the resident has a vehicle, it will be parked in the driveway so that multiple vehicles can be accommodated.
The resident’s personal house code will not be shared with anyone other than the House Manager.
A reasonable curfew will be established for weeknights and weekend nights that accommodates work schedules.
Any grievances, disagreements, or personal preferences about or among other house residents or the House Manager should only be discussed with the resident’s Accountability Partner, who will help resolve any issues or elevate to the next level of authority, if needed.
Each resident’s progress will be evaluated periodically based on participation in the 90-day program and accomplishments.
A weekly training/learning class schedule will be developed after move-in, and residents will commit to participating in all classes.
Upon moving out of TLRCH, all items furnished during the resident’s stay (including furniture, lamps, bedding, and towels) will be left in the resident’s room.
No personal pets of any kind can be brought into TLRCH.
If the resident is absent from the premises for 3 or more days without prior notification to the House Manager, it will be considered abandonment, and the resident will no longer have access to the home. Upon abandonment, the House Manager will dispose of all personal items left on the premises.
